What is the NTSE exam?
NTSE full form is National Talent Search Examination. NTSE or National Talent Search Examination may be a national level exam conducted by the NCERT – “National Council of Educational Research and Training” for granting scholarships to the meritorious students studying in class 10th.
The NTSE exam is merely held for 10th standard students and therefore the exam is conducted in two different stages – Stage 1 and 2.
The first stage exam may be a state-level exam and is conducting by all the Indian states and UTs. On the opposite hand, the NTSE exam stage 2 is conducted for those students who clear the primary stage. As mentioned earlier, only those that qualify in NTSE exam stage 1 are going to be eligible to write down the Stage 2 exam. These are the main criteria. Meanwhile, the target of organizing the NTSE exam is to award scholarships to potential candidates who are meaning to pursue education within the field of Science or Social Studies
With these scholarships, students are going to be ready to continue their education in their desired stream. Moreover, NTSE scholarships are going to be awarded on the idea of the general performance of scholars in both stages of the examination
