Anywhere in Gujarat State, according to order/instructions of PSI Bharti Board at the time of appointment.

Age Limit:

As on 17th November 2016, the Age of candidate must be at least 21 years and not more than 35 years.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit will be given to Reserved Categories candidates as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have passed Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) Exam or Equivalent from a government recognized university.

In addition, the candidate must have passed CCC from DOEACC and have appropriate knowledge of Computer.

Application Fee:

The SC, ST and SEBC Categories candidates need NOT to pay any Fee.

General Category candidates have to pay Rs.100/-.

The Fee can be paid either at Post Office through Challan or through Online Payment System i.e. Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking.

Process of Selection:

The candidate will be selected through following stages of selection_

After appointment as PSI or Intelligence Officer in Gujarat Police, the candidate will be paid as follows_

Unarmed Police Sub Inspector and Intelligence Officer

Rs.13700/- fixed monthly salary for First Five Years and then regular pay scale.

Armed Police Sub Inspector (Platoon Commander)

Rs.13700/- fixed monthly salary for 27 Months and then regular pay scale.

Unarmed Assistant PSI and Assistant Intelligence Officer

Rs.10000/- fixed monthly salary for First Five Years and then regular pay scale.
