Indian Army Recruitment 2017 – Soldier Posts: Indian Army has announced a notification for the recruitment of Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Amn/ Avn), Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesman vacancies. Eligible candidates may attend the rally from 11-09-2017 to 17-09-2017 under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Netaji Stadium, Port Blair and Campbell Bay to enroll eligible candidates into the Indian Army from all districts of Andaman & Nicobar Gp of Islands. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 17 years 06 months to 23 years for Post 1, 2, 4, 17 years 06 months to 21 years for Post 3 as on 01-10-2017.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have 10+2/ Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject for Post 1, 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject or 03 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Electronic & Instrumentation Engineering) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute/ ITI for Post 2, have passed 10th class with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject or ‘D’ Grade in indl sub and aggregate ‘C-2’ Grade or 4.75 Points in Grade System for post 3, 8 TH Class Pass For House Keeper, Mess Keeper & Syce, 10th Class Pass For Chef, Washer man, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Wood Work), Artisan (Metallurgy), Support Staff(ER), Artisan (Construction) and all other trades 10th simple pass/ITI qualification in respective trades. National Trade Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training will be the authority for ITI qualification for post 4.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Physical Fitness Test, physical Measurement Test, Medical Exam, Common Entrance Exam.
